The government plans to allocate EUR 3 billion from NRP for the development of wind energy

Deputy Minister of Funds and Regional Policy, Waldemar Buda, announced that the government plans to allocate EUR 3 billion for the development of wind energy, which will come from the loan part of the National Reconstruction Plan (NRP).

During the press conference, Deputy Minister Buda mentioned that the proposed amount will be a huge boost for all those entrepreneurs who will try to invest in this sector.

The capital that Poland will receive from the Facility for Reconstruction and Strengthening Resilience amounts to EUR 24.9 billion in the form of grants and EUR 34.2 billion in the form of loans. The disbursement of all subsidies available to Poland is planned until August 2026.

Until April 30 this year. Poland is to submit to the European Commission the document of the National Reconstruction Plan.

The final financial allocation is to be known in mid-2022.70% of the proposed funds will be allocated by the end of 2022, and the remaining 30% – by the end of 2023.
