The President of the Energy Regulatory Office has calculated the amount of next year’s RES fee to be paid by all electricity consumers. It will be more than twice lower than this year and will amount to PLN 0.90 per MWh.
As Rafał Gawin, the President of ERO explains, this decrease is mainly caused by high prices of electricity quoted on the exchange, which significantly reduces the negative balance applied for by the beneficiaries of the support schemes provided for in the Act on renewable energy sources.
The amount of the RES fee for 2022 was published in the Information of the President of the ERO No. 66/2021.
