On October 28, the parliamentary draft law on renewable energy was withdrawn, which was submitted to the Parliament in July this year by Jadwiga Emilewicz, MP. Her decision was the result of changes introduced to the design, which significantly distract it from the original.
Nevertheless, on the same day a new draft act on renewable energy was submitted to the Sejm by MP Marek Suski. In addition, the project began to be processed so quickly that the Committee on Energy, Climate and State Assets has already presented its report. The changes introduced by the committee are minor, and the most important amendment is the postponement of the entry into force of the amendment to the RES Act until April 1, 2022.
