According to the deputy minister of climate and environment, Adam Guibourgé-Czetwertyński, according to the approximate greenhouse gas inventory in 2020, greenhouse gas emissions in Poland decreased y / y to 373 675.391 kt of CO2 equivalent. In 2019, the emissions amounted to 390,744.67 kt of CO2 equivalent.

The amount of greenhouse gas emissions in Poland, without the balance of emissions and removals of greenhouse gases in the land use, land use change and forestry sectors (LULUCF) decreased in 2020 by 17,140.49 kt of CO2 equivalent compared to 2015.

The total national greenhouse gas emissions in 2019, excluding the emission and removals of greenhouse gases from the LULUCF sector, compared to the base year (1988) decreased by 32.6%.

Final emissions data for last year will be available in 2022.
