Today, on December 17, 2020, the Sejm has passed the governmental bill on promoting electricity generation in offshore wind farms with editorial amendments recommended during 1st reading and with amendments recommended during 2nd reading (Sejm print no 809).
Now, the bill will be submitted to the Senate for consideration, whose plenary session is currently underway and will end on December 18 this year. The next ones are scheduled for January 11, 12 and 13, 2021.
The amendments proposed during the second reading concern, inter alia, the resale of infrastructure for electrical power output by the energy producer, submitting to the operator of design and executive compliance studies, and a number of paragraphs specifying the limit of expenditure under the Act for 2021.
