The Sejm adopted the supplementary amendment of the Senate to change the terms in Art. 184d of the RES Act

On June 9, the Sejm adopted the Senate’s amendment clarifying the amendment to the act on renewable energy sources, extending the deadlines under Art. 184d of the act on renewable energy sources. Pursuant to the amendment provided for in the government draft act amending the Act – Environmental Protection Law and certain other acts (Sejm Paper No. connection to the network by up to two years.

The Senate introduced an amendment which provides that the possibility of extending the time limits under Art. 184d should be conditioned by the advancement of the project implementation. The above will be confirmed at the stage of submitting the application to the energy company, by attaching the original or a certified copy of the decision on environmental conditions, referred to in the Act of October 3, 2008 on the provision of information on the environment and its protection, public participation in environmental protection and on environmental impact assessments (Journal of Laws of 2021, items 2373, 2389), or the original or a certified copy of the building permit issued for renewable energy installations.

Senate amendment: “2) after sec. 1 the following paragraph shall be added: 1a reading as follows: “1a. To the application referred to in paragraph 1. 1, the manufacturer joins the original or a certified copy of the decision on environmental conditions referred to in the Act on on October 3, 2008 on the provision of information on the environment and its protection, public participation in environmental protection and on environmental impact assessments (Journal of Laws of 2021, items 2373, 2389 and …), or the original or a certified copy of the building permit issued for the installation of a renewable source energy. “.”

The act will now be sent by the Marshal of the Sejm to be signed by the President of the Republic of Poland.
