Further decisions on the location of offshore wind farms

The Ministry of Infrastructure has published all the results of the conclusive proceedings regarding the granting of a location permit for the development of offshore wind farms.

As we reported earlier, at the beginning of this year, companies belonging to PGE, including one with Tauron’s share and one with Enea’s share, won four conclusive proceedings.

In five of the last six decisions, the companies from the PKN Orlen group received the highest number of points.

For one of the latest location granting procedures, for the smallest area 45.E.1, the highest number of points was awarded to the joint application of PGE and Orsted to Elektrownia Wiatrowa Baltica 2. This is an area on the Central Ławica, located directly in the vicinity of Baltica 2, currently developed joint project of these companies with a capacity of 1.5 GW.
