Today, on July 20, 2022, in the morning, a meeting of the Presidium of the Sejm took place, at which, according to earlier information, the Government’s bill amending the act on investments in wind farms and certain other acts was to be discussed. Despite the fact that the document in question was originally one of the items on the agenda of this meeting, it was finally decided to delete it.
As a consequence, the bill was not given a Sejm print no. (numer druku sejmowego), which would allow it to be further processed in the Sejm and sent for the first reading at a committee meeting or plenary session. Bearing in mind that the current session of the Sejm (July 20-22 and August 5) is the last one before the summer break, work on the draft may not take place until the next session, which is planned for September 14-16 this year.
