Two deputies’ bills amending the act on investments in wind farms were sent to the Sejm.
The first draft was sent to the Sejm on December 12 this year and provides for the limitation of the applicable distance criterion 10h to 800 meters.
This project on January 8 this year has been withdrawn by the applicants.
Proposed wording of art. 4 paragraph 1 of the Act on investments in wind farms:
„1. The distance at which they can be located and built:
1) wind farm – from a residential building or a mixed-function building, which includes a residential function, and
2) residential building or mixed-function building, which includes a residential function – from a wind farm
– is at least 800 meters.”
The applicant is a group of members of the Koalicja Obywatelska, the project has not yet been given a print number.
The second draft was sent to the Sejm on December 18 this year. and provides for the introduction of provisions that are intended to distinguish the situation of entities planning the location of residential developments in the vicinity of wind farms created before the entry into force of the Act, from those that will be located and built in the future.
The project has been given Sejm printing number 141 and will be the subject of a meeting of the Infrastructure Committee. The date of the meeting is not yet known.
