On October 14, representatives of government administration, the business community, science and business environment units signed the “Sectoral Agreement for the Development of the Hydrogen Economy in Poland”. As noted by the Minister of Climate and Environment, Michał Kurtyka, Poland is the first country in the European Union to conclude a sectoral agreement on the development of a hydrogen economy.
The Minister of Climate emphasized that Poland should direct a new impulse for economic development on the paths thanks to which it will be able to participate in achieving climate neutrality, where one of its important elements will be the use of hydrogen technologies.
The head of the Ministry of Climate and Environment also reminded that the dissemination of hydrogen is a key initiative in line with the assumptions of the “Polish Hydrogen Strategy until 2030 with a perspective until 2040”, which will be adopted by the Council of Ministers in the coming weeks.
