The German energy cooperative expands the wind farm to 210 MW

In Germany, in the municipality of Reußenköge, there is an energy cooperative in the municipality of Reußenköge, which was created by local farmers producing wind energy.

The local energy community Bürgerwindpark Reußenköge GmbH & Co. KG, which placed an order with the Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas for the supply of 12 wind turbines with a rotor blade diameter of 112 metres and a unit capacity of 3,45 MW.

Thanks to the investment, the total capacity of the wind farm will increase to 210 MW. The cooperative plans to expand its farm to 300 MW in the coming years.
