The Minister for EU Affairs predicts that funds for the KPO will be delivered to Poland before the end of this year

During Thursday’s visit to the RMF FM radio, EU Minister Konrad Szymański addressed the question about the National Reconstruction Plan and measures that have not yet been delivered to Poland. As noted, Poland is not the only country that has not received funds yet, but at the same time there is no reason for the European Commission to suspend and delay issuing the decision on the KPO. On this basis, Minister Szymański assumes that the funds will be delivered to Poland before the end of 2021.

In addition, the minister stated that the European Commission is already operating without legal grounds, because the regulation does not postpone decisions for such a long time. He assured that many people on the side of the Polish government want to bring the matter to an end, but when answering another question, he added that there were also people who had reasonable doubts as to whether the European Commission does not apply double standards.
