On October 14, the “Sectoral Agreement for the Development of the Hydrogen Economy in Poland” was signed, with 138 entities representing various sectors of the economy in which the production, transmission, storage and use of hydrogen is to be significant. As assumed by the Ministry of Climate and Environment, thanks to the activation of Polish scientists and entrepreneurs, it will be possible to achieve at least 50% national contribution to investments related to hydrogen by 2030.
Ireneusz Zyska, Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment, noted that the agreement included the so-called local content, at a level not lower than 50% of the total value in 2030. As estimated by the Ministry of Climate, the added value for the Polish economy due to the achievement of this indicator may range from EUR 343 to 870 million.
