Instrat: The Sejm’s amendment means the loss of almost half of the space for wind turbines

47 percent – that much less of Poland’s area will be available for wind investments compared to the original government proposal, if the requirement of maintaining a distance of 700 meters from houses adopted by the parliamentary committee is maintained. The previously consulted wording of the act referred to 500 meters. In the province itself Kujawsko-Pomorskie, if the act comes into force in this form, this change means the loss of 65 percent of the area available for wind turbines – writes Jarosław Kopeć, Instrat analyst.
