The President of the Republic of Poland today, i.e. on November 2, 2022, signed the Act of October 27, 2022 on emergency measures aimed at limiting the amount of electricity prices and supporting certain consumers in 2023.
Last week, the Association sent a letter to the President’s office, pointing to the non-compliance of the law with the provisions of Council Regulation (EU) 2022/1854 of October 6, 2022 on emergency interventions to solve the problem of high energy prices, and the resulting from this inconsistency, the financial risk for the State Treasury.
