On April 30, 2020, the European Commission is organizing LIFE Information & Networking Day 2020. This is an event for Polish applicants planning to submit an application in this year’s LIFE recruitment. Registration for the online conference lasts until April 25, 2020.
The LIFE program is the only financial instrument of the European Union devoted exclusively to co-financing projects in the field of environmental and climate protection. Its main goal is to support the implementation of Community environmental law, the implementation of EU policy in this area, as well as the identification and promotion of new solutions for environmental problems including nature.
The conference will be attended by experts from the European Commission who will present the assumptions and financing possibilities for environmental projects under the LIFE Program, as well as changes introduced in this year’s recruitment.
A platform was also launched for the needs of participants, giving the possibility to organize virtual 1: 1 meetings between potential applicants, as well as with representatives of the European Commission and national LIFE contact points. This creates a unique opportunity to establish international cooperation, as well as to initially discuss the idea for the project. Such meetings will take place from 30 April to 8 May.
