As Deputy Climate Minister Adam Guibourgé-Czetwertyński informs in an interview with “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna”, the ministry is working on an energy strategy. The target model is to be based on nuclear energy and energy from renewable sources.
Guibourgé-Czetwertyński pointed out that Poland is working on an energy strategy until 2050. He stressed that “the target model, which is able to ensure a low-carbon economy, will be based on nuclear energy, which will ensure the stability of the system, and energy from renewable sources”. “These are zero-emission technologies with a secure supply system resistant to disruptions. Of course, during the transition period, before we build the necessary number of RES installations, we must ensure the functioning of the current system.”
