The analytical team from the Financial Times fDi Markets group has published data which show that in the three quarters of 2020, foreign investors announced 306 greenfield projects in Poland, which places us in third place in this respect. There are only Great Britain (643 projects) and Germany (407 projects) ahead of us, followed by Spain (305 projects) and France (264 projects).
Director of the Investment Center at the Polish Investment and Trade Agency Jan Kamoji-Czapiński emphasized that the main sources of new investments are the electromobility and renewable energy sectors. During the first four months of this year, Poland did not record a decrease in the number of investments in the field of renewable energy sources. At that time, 16 projects were announced in our country. Their investors include Danish Vestas or German Inogy SE and RWE Renewable.
