On 26-27 August this year, Deputy Minister of Energy Tomasz Dąbrowski during a meeting with the Finnish Minister of Economic Affairs Katri Kulmuni announced the readiness of the Polish government to support and cooperate with the Finnish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
During the discussions, ministers also exchanged views on the way forward on the three documents: The National Energy and Climate Plan, the EU’s long-term strategy until 2050, and the Regulation on sustainable finance.
– One of Poland’s priorities is “fair transformation”, which means taking into account the social context of the transformation and counteracting the uneven distribution of costs between Member States by placing a greater burden on the economies with high use of coal fuels – said Deputy Minister Dąbrowski.
