The improvement of air quality in Poland, the situation of less affluent households and the energy efficiency of Poland – these are the main goals of the government’s thermo-modernization program announced by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Deputy Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology Piotr Woźny.
The government’s thermo-modernization program assumes financial support for households with incomes below the subsistence level using solid fuels for heating purposes. A program of universal thermo-modernization of residential buildings will also be launched, which will provide separate instruments for less and more affluent households. Less-affluent households in Poland can count on financing from public funds 100% of the cost of thermo-modernization of their buildings. For more affluent Poles, the option of benefiting from preferential loans and credits will be introduced.
