On November 19 this year in the Official Gazette, ordinances of the Prime Minister specifying the scope of activities of the Minister of State Assets and the Minister of Climate were published.
Regulation of the Prime Minister of November 18, 2019 on the detailed scope of activities of the Minister of State Assets.
1. The Minister manages the following departments of government administration:
1) energy;
2) management of mineral deposits.
3. The minister is the administrator of parts 47 and 48 of the state budget.
4. The minister is assisted by the Ministry of State Assets.
5. The Minister supervises the President of the State Mining Authority.
Regulation of the Prime Minister of November 18, 2019 on the detailed scope of activities of the Minister of Climate.
1. The Regulation defines the detailed scope of activities of the Minister of Climate, hereinafter referred to as “the minister”.
2. The minister heads the department of government administration – the environment.
3. The minister is the administrator of part 41 of the state budget.
4. The Ministry is assisted by the Ministry of Climate.
5. Bodies subordinate to or supervised by the minister are set out in the Annex to the Regulation (General Director for Environmental Protection; Chief Inspector for Environmental Protection; President of the National Atomic Energy Agency).
At the same time, regulations were published in the Journal of Laws according to which the name changes from “Ministry of Energy” to “Ministry of State Assets”, and from “Ministry of Environment” to “Ministry of Climate”.
These ordinances also entered into force with effect from November 15 this year.
