Inogy Stoen Operator and Tauron Dystrybucja recorded a record increase in RES micro-installations, most of them based on the use of photovoltaic technology.
Last year, the number of photovoltaic micro installations connected to the network of the Warsaw power distribution operator innogy Stoen Operator more than doubled. Last year, 1,427 RES micro-installations with a total installed capacity of 9,083 MW were connected to the network of this DSO. All connected sources are micro-installations (up to 50 kW) photovoltaic. As a result, at the end of 2019, 2,559 photovoltaic micro installations with a total installed capacity of 15,662 MW were connected to the innogy Stoen Operator network.
Tauron Dystrybucja also recorded a record number of micro-installations. Photovoltaics in numbers: 30.4 thousand with a total capacity of 206 MW. It is almost four times more than in the previous year. In total, the company has already attached over 47,000 this type of installation. The total capacity of all renewable energy sources connected last year was 278 MW, including 206 MW micro-installations.
