Jadwiga Emilewicz, Minister of Enterprise Technology and Technology, during the opening of the First Air Ecology Congress, talked about the ‘’Energy plus” programme, which aims to stimulate the development of prosumer energy in Poland. The package of regulations on the status of prosumers is expected to be in two weeks, and the legislative process will end in April.
Prosuments can be e. g. self-government units, small and large enterprises or self-government entities. By installing photovoltaic panels you get a fast prosumer status. Thanks to the installations it is possible to quickly obtain energy without buying it from the grid, and the excess energy produced can be returned to the grid, providing a source of additional revenue, or reduce the price of energy when the sun is not shining. You can take out a loan that can be repaid before any excess electricity is produced.
Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Education, together with his ministry and the National Centre for Research and Development, is working on the ’’Blocks 200+” programme, which consists in modernization of the transmission networks of the Polish energy system, the hydrogen storage programme, the programme for the construction of an emission-free means of transport and the programme for the emission-free means of public transport.
The aim of the 1st Congress of Air Ecology is to broaden scientific knowledge about smog, promote anti-smog programmes and debate on effective solutions in the field of air protection in Kielce and the region.
