PKO Bank Polski launched a cash loan to finance the purchase and installation of photovoltaic panels up to PLN 50,000. This is another step on the way to the implementation of the Energy plus Programme, which aims to ensure the independence of Polish families, small and medium enterprises and Local Government Units. A draft amendment to the RES Act, which will enable SMEs to conduct prosumer activity, will soon be available for consultation.
The loan is a new product of PKO Bank Polski for the purchase of photovoltaic devices. The offer includes financing, up to PLN 50 thousand, of both the costs of purchase of solar panels and their installation.
The interest rate on the loan is 4. 99% and the commission is 0,99%. In order to take advantage of such preferential pricing conditions, it is sufficient to present documents confirming the purchase and installation of equipment for at least 85% of the loan amount within three months from the date of obtaining financing.
Solar panels can be installed independently of new generation heat sources and allow for a significant increase in the energy independence of the building. Additionally, from 2019, expenditure on the thermal modernization of single-family buildings may be deducted from income as part of the thermal modernization allowance.
The loan can be repaid over a period of up to 10 years, which, combined with the tax credit, will allow households to reduce their monthly expenditure on electricity purchases.
