Entrepreneurs who plan to continue their economic activity consisting in generating electricity in renewable energy installations, after the expiry of the support period provided for them, must still have a valid operating license or an entry in the register of regulated activities.
The Energy Regulatory Office reminds that entrepreneurs obliged by the Energy Law to hold a license should submit an application to the President of the ERO for its extension (or for a new license). On the other hand, entrepreneurs who have been excluded from the statutory obligation to hold a license should have a current entry in the register of regulated activities.
In the case of small RES installations, it will be an entry in the register of energy producers in a small installation, kept by the President of the ERO, while entrepreneurs generating electricity only from agricultural biogas in installations other than micro-installations and generating electricity only from bioliquids in renewable energy installations should have an entry to the register of agricultural biogas producers and the register of bioliquids producers kept by the General Director of the National Center for Agricultural Support.
