On July 1, the third edition of the “My Electricity” program was launched, in which approximately PLN 500 million is to be allocated compared to PLN 1.1 billion in the previous two editions. Subsidies will be lower and instead of up to 5,000. will amount to 3,000 PLN. Those who did not get funding from the previous pool will be able to take advantage of them.
Ireneusz Zyska, Deputy Minister of Climate, explains that this will be an introduction to the fourth edition of the program, which will be based on different principles. Next year, discounts are to be lifted, which allowed users, for example, to receive 80% of the energy input from the network in the evening. According to representatives of the Ministry of Climate and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, the discounts caused the power grid to function as a virtual energy storage, and it has its own capacity. To catch the 15-year discount, your subsidized solar panel needs to be operational before the end of this year.
The details of the fourth edition of the “My Electricity” program will be known in the fall, but it is already known today that next year all people interested in installing photovoltaics will be able to, for example, store it in their own physical warehouse instead of being able to collect 80% of the overproduction of energy they admit to the grid. who will get subsidies. According to the deputy minister, the co-financing will be at the level of 25-50% of the warehouse price.
