According to Anna Kornecka, deputy minister at the Ministry of Development, Labor and Technology, the ministry has prepared a comprehensive proposal for a reform of the prosumer energy support system, which provides for the possibility of settling the discount in a 1: 1 ratio. This means that within 12 months of introducing the produced energy into the grid, prosumers will be able to receive 100% of it, while introducing their costs for distribution fees.

The ministry’s proposal will be submitted to the Ministry of Climate and Environment as part of the amendments to the Energy Law and the RES Act as part of a comprehensive reform of the prosumer system and energy market.
