On February 7, 2022, the Minister of Development and Technology, Piotr Nowak, handed over to Michał Wiśniewski the act of appointing him by the Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki as the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Development and Technology. So far, Michał Wiśniewski has been, inter alia, deputy director general of the National Center for Agricultural Support.
The new deputy minister will be responsible for the area of supervised and subordinate units, low-emission economy and real estate management. Importantly, it is the Department of Low-Emission Economy that is the substantive unit of the ministry, which so far has been responsible for works on the amendment to the act on investments in wind farms.
