According to PAP, during a press conference Krzysztof Tchórzewski announced support for smaller energy generation sources, which is to amount to almost PLN 37 million until 2028. According to the Minister, this support will be largely dedicated to the construction of units with an installed electrical capacity of up to 50 MW.
“We are introducing new mechanisms that promote the development of distributed energy. It’s all about clean energy. (…) The Act on High Efficiency Cogeneration is intended for district towns and cities. (…) On the other hand, the Ministry of the Environment is introducing mechanisms that enable support for district heating networks. We, on the other hand, support the modernisation and construction of heat and power plants through legislation, also in these smaller towns.” – said the Minister.
