Today, i.e. on February 25, 2022, a draft act amending the Act on Renewable Energy Sources and Certain Other Acts (UC99), which is a transposition of the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2018 / 2001 of December 11, 2018 on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources.
The draft proposes to introduce changes in the following areas:
- Biomethane
- Energy clusters
- Transposition of RED II in the following areas:
- District heating and cooling (art.23-24 RED II)
- Guarantees of origin (Art.19 RED II)
- National Contact Point for RES (Article 16 RED II)
- Administrative procedures (Articles 15-16 RED II)
- Partner energy trading – peer-to-peer (Art. 21 RED II)
- Modernization of renewable energy installations
- Operational support for RES installations, which expire the 15-year support system
- Hybrid RES installations
- Offshore wind energy (supplementary regulations)
- Other regulations
