The Energy Regulatory Office issued a communication reminding the deadline for submitting investment plans for 2020-2034.
Energy companies producing electricity in sources with a total installed electrical capacity equal to or greater than 50 MW, every 2 years draw up and submit to the President of the Energy Regulatory Office forecasts for the next 15 years. This obligation results from art. 16 clause 20 of the Energy Law. According to it, by April 30 of a given year, the enterprise updates its forecasts and informs the President of the Energy Regulatory Office and power system operators to which the network is connected.
Fifteen-year forecasts should include, in particular, information on: the amount of electricity produced, modernization works, extension of existing or construction of new sources, as well as technical and economic data regarding the type and size of these sources, their location and the type of fuel used to generate electricity.
