Among the participants of the meeting held on March 6 2019, chaired by Minister Jerzy Kwieciński, there were Deputy Minister of Energy Grzegorz Tobiszowski, Piotr Woźny – Government Plenipotentiaries for the “Clean Air” programme, Silesian Voivode Jarosław Wieczorek and Tomasz Bednarek, President of the Regional Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Katowice.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss maximization of the funds under the Programme for Silesia.
As Deputy Minister Grzegorz Tobiszowski emphasized, the most important task is to initiate intensive investment activities in cogeneration systems and to initiate the integration of district heating systems in Silesia. This will serve as a comprehensive solution to the problem of low emissions in the Silesian Voivodeship.
