Minister of Development Jadwiga Emilewicz declared that in the near future the bill on the development of offshore wind energy in the Baltic Sea will be discussed by the government. Work will also be carried out on an amendment to the Wind Investment Act, including the 10H distance criterion.
“The Act on offshore investments, i.e. wind farms in the Baltic Sea, will be discussed by the Council of Ministers. We will also deal with the amendment to the wind act – the so-called 10H, distance act – which will facilitate onshore wind investments, while taking into account the interests of local communities. We invite local governments to discuss, “said the minister during a Wednesday press conference in Katowice.
