According to the Energy Regulatory Office, in 2018 the total capacity of the installed energy sources (as at 31 December 2018) amounts to 8 593, 430 MW.
This result is made up of a number of user installations:
– biogas (237,618 MW) – 2,245 MW more than in 2017,
– biomass (1,362,870 MW) – 0,84 MW more than in 2017,
– solar energy (146,995 MW) – result higher by 43,099 MW than in 2017,
– wind energy (5,864,443 MW) – result higher by 15,772 MW than in 2017,
– hydropower (981,504 MW) – result lower by 6,873 MW than in 2017.
