The Minister of Climate has announced recruitment for the Youth Climate Council

The Ministry of Climate announced the start of recruitment for the first term of the Youth Climate Council at the Ministry of Climate. Her tasks will include expressing opinions on matters covered by government administration, climate and energy. The Council will be the advisory body to the Minister. Candidates may be candidates who, at the date of announcement of the recruitment, i.e. 22 April 2020, were 13 years old and at the same time were under 26 years of age. Those interested must complete the application form and send it together with attachments to the Ministry of Climate.

The submitted candidates will be evaluated on the basis of formal and substantive criteria, and the results of the recruitment are to be published on the Ministry’s website by 30 September 2020. As announced by the resort, the creativity of the prepared justification and presentation of the candidate will be assessed, as well as cooperation, communication skills and involvement in convergent environmental actions with the objectives of the Ministry of Climate. The applications are to be divided by voivodship, and then in each voivodship into two age groups, up to the age of twenty and 20 years and more. Two participants will be selected from each age group, from among which the Minister of Climate will select two members of the Council. The Youth Climate Council will consist of 32 members, two from each province.
