The Ministry of Climate aims to create the best conditions for the development of renewable energy sources. The expansion of the renewable energy sector and the increase in green energy production is the basis for the development of the entire economy by supporting the export of Polish products, reducing dependence on imports of fossil fuels and raising the level and quality of life of citizens.

Ireneusz Zyska, Government Plenipotentiary for RES, emphasizes: “Under the law, many renewable energy companies are required to start producing contracted energy under the auction system, as well as on other terms. Breaking the supply chain, staff shortages, slowing down some procedures due to the coronavirus pandemic – these are high risk factors for many companies. That is why we have prepared changes in regulations that will help the industry survive this difficult time and enable Poland to develop dynamically in the field of renewable energy sources. ”

In the near future, the most urgent legal changes will be introduced, including the postponement of the obligation to provide energy under the auction system.
