On 5 February 2018, President Andrzej Duda signed the Act on electromobility, which is to support the development of electric motorization, among others by creating conditions for the development of electric car charging infrastructure. The law was processed in the parliament within few days. After being adopted by the Sejm, the Senate passed it without any amendments.
