The Warsaw Air Index, presented on the website and via the mobile application, illustrates the concentration of suspended dust and nitrogen dioxide in the atmosphere. The system was created by the city representatives and scientists from the Warsaw University of Technology and is based on measurement data obtained from the air quality monitoring stations belonging to the Voivodship Inspectorate of Environmental Protection in Warsaw. Currently, there are four measuring points, however the city provides for the installation of about 100 new devices.
