The German institute Agora Energiewende and the British company Sandbag inform in the report “The European Power Sector in 2017” that the generation from wind, solar and bioams sources – which were included in the category of “new” renewable energy, developing only after 2000 – last year grew in Europe by 12 percent and for the first time in history was higher than that from conventional sources.
