According to the Wysokienapiecie.pl portal, the Senate introduced amendments to the amendment to the act on maritime safety and the act on maritime areas of the Republic of Poland and maritime administration, which clearly indicate that the regulations also apply to the offshore part of the wind farm and unify the terminology of the act.
The amendment provides for the introduction of a safety and environmental certification system at individual stages of the construction of offshore wind farms and devices for outputting power from them. Supervision and certification will be performed by the so-called recognized organizations with appropriate authorization. The regulations regulate the scope of requirements necessary to obtain the relevant certificates.
