According to the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Port of Gdansk announced a competition procedure aimed at selecting a lessee interested in landing the sea area within the administrative boundaries of the Port, including the construction of an installation terminal for offshore wind farms there.
On March 1, 2022, the Council of Ministers adopted a resolution changing the location of the installation terminal for offshore wind farms to the Outer Port in Gdańsk. The Minister of State Assets applied for the change at the end of February.
Initial competition offers will be accepted until June 8, 2022. The deadline for submitting binding offers will take place 3 months after the resolution of the 1st stage of the procedure.
