Today, i.e. on October 26, 2021, as part of the previously announced government reconstruction, new ministers have been appointed in ministries important for the renewable energy sector.
Earlier, the Minister of Climate and Environment, Michał Kurtyka, and the Minister of Agriculture, Grzegorz Puda, resigned.
In accordance with previous media announcements, Anna Moskwa, the current Director of the Offshore Wind Farm Office at PKN ORLEN, was appointed for Minister of Climate and Environment.
Piotr Nowak, previously deputy finance minister responsible for debt management, and recently advisor to the head of the International Monetary Fund in Washington, became the new Minister of Development and Technology.
The former Minister of Environment, Henryk Kowalczyk, was appointed to the position of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
