On October 12, 2021, the 2030-2040 hydrogen economy sector agreement will be signed. It is about providing resources for the production of hydrogen. The document was created by the business, government and academic community.
According to Dariusz Pachniewski, director of business development at Hynfra, the hydrogen economy will apply to everyone, that is, public and private entities, companies of the State Treasury, agencies and funds.
According to the Deputy Minister of Climate, Ireneusz Zyska, hydrogen may be used in various sectors of the economy, and in a few years a market of demand for hydrogen technologies will be created. After the adoption of the Polish Hydrogen Strategy and the signing of the sectoral agreement, the Hydrogen Law will be adopted.
In addition to the regulations, the availability of high-quality water resources is important, therefore the level of rainwater retention must be increased. Talks on this subject are currently underway with the State Water Management “Polish Waters”. As Dariusz Pachniewski emphasizes, there will be a need for infrastructure that will enable the supply of water for the electrolysis installation in a way that does not affect the shrinking resources of surface and deep waters.
