According to Ireneusz Zyska, Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment, the sectoral agreement on the development of the offshore wind energy industry may be signed in the second half of August this year.
The Ministry of Climate, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation, the Ministry of State Assets, the Polish Wind Energy Association (PWEA) and the Polish Offshore Wind Energy Society (PTMEW) on July 1, 2020 signed a letter of intent regarding cooperation in the development of offshore wind energy in Poland, which was to be the first step towards working out a sectoral agreement.
