During the session of the Sejm, Ireneusz Zyska answered questions from MPs about the Clean Air program. On the podium, he admitted that the ministry is not satisfied with the allocation of funds to the beneficiaries, therefore the program has been extended and it will face further changes, which are to lead to an increase in the number of people who can benefit from it.
The deputy minister recalled that from October 21, less affluent people may apply for an increased amount of subsidy in the program, which will amount to 32 thousand. PLN subsidy (37 thousand with a photovoltaic installation). The application can be submitted, among others through the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, and after printing and completing it, submit it to the commune, or electronically, using a trusted profile. print a template of the relevant document, and after completing it – submit it to the commune.
As Zyska added, the Ecological Fund for Sureties and Guarantees is also to help launch the program. It will provide guarantees or sureties for the repayment of credits and loans for ecological projects, e.g. thermal modernization and replacement of heat sources in single-family houses. The fund is to operate at BGK and will be financed by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. The act regulating, inter alia, the creation of such a fund is currently waiting for the president’s signature.
