The Minister of Development appointed a Team for Energy Efficiency and Energy Transformation of Buildings, whose task is to develop a reform of the support system for investments in improving the energy efficiency of buildings in Poland. The team includes 16 experts who are representatives of universities and scientific and research institutes, industry organizations and associations and employers’ organizations.
The team is to present initiatives and recommend solutions aimed at improving the energy efficiency and low-emission of buildings, as well as promoting optimal economic, social and environmental development directions in the field of energy efficiency of buildings. The scope of the team’s work also includes recommending changes to the law in this area and supporting the development of cooperation between enterprises operating in this area with universities and scientific institutions.
The first meeting of the Team for Energy Efficiency and Energy Transformation of Buildings took place on September 10, and the commencement of its work coincides with the proceedings of another amendment to the Energy Efficiency Act.
