According to the cire.pl portal, as announced by the Deputy Director of the Low-Emission Economy Department in the Ministry of Development, Przemysław Hofman, a legislative initiative according to which the commune, under certain conditions, will be able to reduce the minimum distance of a wind turbine from residential buildings to 500 meters, is to be directed in September for inter-ministerial consultations and public consultations.
As Hofman emphasized, the minimum distance of 500 meters is the average distance from the wind turbine within which the applicable noise standards are met, resulting from scientific research.
