EU support comes from Measure 1. 1 of the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment – Support for production and distribution of energy from renewable sources. The pool of funds to be distributed in the competition amounts to PLN 200 million. The financial support may amount to 85% of the project’s eligible costs, however, the maximum amount of co-financing per company may not exceed €15 million. The support concerns the construction of a biomass, solar and geothermal heat generation installation. This may also include the company’s connection to the district heating network. Priority will be given to projects with the greatest potential to reduce CO2 emissions – reads ‘’Puls Biznesu’’.
