In connection with the entry into force of the Act of 19 July 2019 amending the Act on renewable energy sources and certain other acts, the President of the Energy Regulatory Office has established new Auction Regulations for the sale of electricity generated in renewable energy installations, which was subsequently approved by Minister of Energy.

Updating the regulations consisted in introducing the concept of so-called “Personal signature”, adjusting the requirements for submitted bank guarantees as a result of extending the allowable dates for the first sale of electricity in the auction system, as well as adapting the document to the provisions that have been covered by the so-called “Suspensive clause” due to the need to notify them by the European Commission. In the remaining scope, publications were updated and minor editorial corrections.

Regulations are available in Biuletyn Informacji Publicznej URE oraz na and on the RES auctions page in the tab Regulamin aukcji.
