The largest source of financing R&D projects addressed to entrepreneurs is the Intelligent Development Operational Programme, under which NCBiR implements the „Fast Truck” competition. Projects which will result in the creation and marketing of a new or significantly improved product, service or process may apply for co-financing.
In the „Fast Track” competition onecan receive up to 80% co-financing for the implementation of an R&D project. NCRD will support the entrepreneur, among others, in the payment of salaries for research and development staff, management or auxiliary staff. Eligible costs also include research services, depreciation or leasing of equipment and hiring a laboratory. The money from the grant can also be used for the purchase of materials necessary for the implementation of the project.
Additionally, it is possible to finance up to 90% of pre-implementation costs, i. e. market research prior to the introduction of a new product or service or costs of the required solution certification.
The total value of the eligible costs of the project may not exceed EUR 50 million
